I created a visual "cheat sheet" to keep out when I am practicing. This provides a reminder of the hole "assignment" on a 12 hole chromatic. The piano keyboard gives me quick visual feedback on whole verses half step intervals. And of course when attempting to play from music notation, the treble staff graphic help. I'll update with more items as Start playing other scales. I have the cheat sheet here as a graphic and a PDF download.
